This Photographer Transforms Famous Landmarks Using Paper Cutouts

At first glance, they look like genuine photos of everyday scenarios and items.

But do a double take, and youll see that these incredible photos are famous landmarks that have been transformed by paper cutouts.

Equipped with as little as a camera, a plane ticket and handful of cardboard cut-outs, photographer Rich McCor has travelled to London, Paris, Stockholm, Amsterdam and Copenhagen to capture his quirky creations.

After posting several of his reality-bending photos on Instagram, Rich, aka @paperboyo, caught the attention of Lonely Planet, who commissioned the photographer to create some photos for their website.

My first idea was using a cut-out to transform Big Ben into a wristwatch, Rich said.

Whilst I was there, a girl and her father took an interest in what I was doing and I showed them the photo on my camera screen.

They were full of enthusiasm for the idea, and it spurred me on to do more.
